已完成超音波細胞粉碎機與-70℃冷凍櫃之儀器裝設。目前已開放有修習「海洋動物生理實驗」、「海洋植物生理實驗」、「海洋生物技術」學生使用，學生及教師反應良好，使得研究品質提升。學生得以完成實驗並發表學術期刊論文，包括發表在Journal of Phycology：Photosynthetic electron mediates the light-controlled up-regulation of expression of methionine sulfoxide reductase A and B from marine macroalga Ulva Fasciata.及Plant and Cell Phycology：Different modulation of iron and manganese superoxide dismutase gene expression in a marine macroalga Ulva Fasciata by photosynthetic controlled signals.
