學生迴響: 這學期的英語學習方式主要分成兩大部分：小組討論以及戲劇表演。小組討論的主題包含：夢想中的超級城市＆工作面試用語。戲劇表演的主題包含：即興表演＆電影角色扮演。在小組討論主題夢想中的超級城市中，學習到日常生活週遭的軟硬體設施的用語，讓學生更清楚得了解到如何運用英文解釋平常會遇到的軟硬體設施；工作面試用語則是學習到基本的面試禮儀以及面試時的基本對話。在戲劇表演中的即興表演則是由英語老師隨機出題，讓學生即興表演，全程以英文對話；電影角色扮演的部分，則是分組表演不同的電影情節，以英文對話的方式呈現出來，並讓同學猜彼此之間是在飾演哪一部電影以及角色。 小組討論的方式可以讓學生學習以英語溝通，英語老師會到處走動，並適時的給予指導；戲劇表演則是以輕鬆的方式讓每一位學生都有開口講英語的機會，英語老師也都會跟學生互動，達到玩中學的實質效果。 Tutor迴響: We were able to create a familiar, comfortable atmosphere for students to practice uninhibited speaking and conversation. First semester a smaller group allowed for intimate conversation on a variety of issues, while a larger club second semester allowed the students to practice public speaking and teamwork. We had a very successful Christmas party where we invited international students to share what Christmas means to them. Feedback from the Taiwanese students was very positive about this chance to meet new people using English. We also had a guest come in to run an improvisational theatre workshop where the students practiced thinking on their feet and dialoguing in the moment.
