本學期的課程以生活英文用語做主題式討論、分享為課程主軸，每週由Tutor決定當週課程主題，並準備相關教材，包含餐桌禮儀、日常生活用語、英文求職面試技巧、旅遊會話等主題，讓學生可實際學習可實際應用之英語能力。課程中多以單字練習、情境設定、角色扮演、對話等方式進行，以輕鬆的方式讓每一位學生都有開口講英語的機會，Tutor也可與學生進行互動，達到玩中學的實質效果。 Tutor’s feedback: The English Club is a place for learners to use English in a casual setting. Learners get a chance to practice many different skills in a setting that is more like real life. The club allows the teacher to understand the students’ English better and help them to speak more clearly and listen more carefully, and also aims to make the learning experience both fun and dynamic. Furthermore, the purpose of the club is to use English in a life-like situation and do what feels natural and comfortable, students are permitted to bring any discussion topic to the table. In an effort to keep the activities as close to life as possible, I designed lesson plans including relevant vocabulary and role playing. I also engaged the students in games that require verbal interaction. The students were all generally friendly and cooperative with each other and toward me. They help each other and had a very positive attitude toward all activities done at the English Club.
